Strategies for SharePoint implementation for service registry management within a corporation

Abstract

Service registry management is critical in today’s corporate environments where seamless integration, collaboration, and data governance are prerequisites for success. SharePoint, as a robust enterprise collaboration platform, offers an array of functionalities that can be harnessed to establish a dynamic and efficient service registry management system. This manuscript explores strategic approaches for implementing SharePoint in managing a corporation’s service registry. We examine the technical architecture, process standardization, change management, and security protocols needed to support integration, scalability, and regulatory compliance. A comprehensive literature review contextualizes our study in existing research and practical case studies, while a statistical analysis based on internal survey data highlights the anticipated benefits and challenges. The proposed methodology involves iterative deployment, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement cycles.  The findings indicate that strategic SharePoint implementation not only enhances operational efficiency but also supports a culture of innovation and transparency within the organization. Finally, we conclude with recommendations for corporations to adapt best practices and develop a robust governance model that leverages SharePoint’s capabilities for service registry management.
