1. Appointment Criteria

Candidates considered for the role of International Editor must meet the following requirements:

1.3 Editorial and Review Experience

  • Prior experience as a reviewer, editorial board member, or editor in academic journals (preferred)
  • Familiarity with peer review processes and publication ethics

1.4 International Representation

  • Affiliation with a recognized university, research institution, or industry organization outside the journal’s primary country of operation
  • Ability to contribute to the journal’s global outreach and diversity

1.5 Professional Integrity

  • Commitment to ethical publishing standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism

2. Responsibilities of International Editors

International Editors are expected to actively contribute to the journal’s academic and operational excellence through the following roles:

2.1 Manuscript Handling and Review Support

  • Assist in identifying suitable reviewers for submitted manuscripts
  • Provide expert opinion on manuscript quality when required
  • Support the peer review process to ensure timely and fair evaluation

2.2 Quality Assurance

  • Uphold the academic standards of the journal by ensuring originality and relevance of published work
  • Encourage high-quality submissions in emerging areas of big data systems

2.3 Editorial Contribution

  • Provide guidance on journal policies, scope expansion, and thematic issues
  • Suggest special issues, emerging research topics, or collaborative publications

2.4 Promotion and Outreach

  • Promote the journal within academic and professional networks
  • Encourage researchers, scholars, and institutions to submit quality manuscripts
  • Support the journal’s visibility at international conferences and events

2.5 Ethical Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards in publishing, including avoidance of plagiarism and conflicts of interest
  • Report any ethical concerns or misconduct to the editorial board

3. Term and Nature of Appointment

  • The appointment is typically for a fixed term (e.g., 1–3 years), subject to performance and mutual agreement
  • The position is honorary and based on academic contribution and professional engagement
  • Active participation is expected throughout the tenure

4. Conflict of Interest

International Editors must:

5. Termination of Appointment

The journal reserves the right to terminate the appointment of an International Editor under the following conditions:
