Abstract

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has emerged as a transformative technology in today’s digital economy by streamlining repetitive tasks and reducing operational costs. However, the successful implementation of RPA projects relies not only on technical proficiency but also on robust document and solution design practices. This manuscript investigates the best practices for document and solution design in RPA projects. It discusses the strategic planning of project documentation, the architecture of automation solutions, and the importance of quality assurance in ensuring sustainable, scalable, and efficient RPA implementations.  By reviewing the literature, analyzing practical methodologies, and discussing real-world results, this work offers an integrated framework that guides organizations in developing clear, maintainable, and agile RPA solutions. Ultimately, this paper aims to serve as a reference for practitioners and researchers seeking to optimize documentation and design processes for RPA projects, ensuring that best practices are embedded from conception through to deployment and beyond.
