Abstract

Minimally invasive medical devices have revolutionized the healthcare industry by reducing patient trauma, recovery times, and healthcare costs. The integration of advanced electro-mechanical design in these devices is pivotal for enhancing functionality, precision, and reliability. This manuscript examines the emerging trends in electro-mechanical design applied to minimally invasive devices. It highlights innovations in sensor integration, actuation systems, and control algorithms, alongside an indepth review of simulation-based validation methods and statistical analyses. Our research  combines a comprehensive literature review with empirical simulation data to propose a framework for optimizing device performance. The findings suggest that adopting advanced electro-mechanical systems leads to improved device accuracy, reduced operational variability, and a broader spectrum of clinical applications.
