Abstract

Post-surgical patient monitoring plays a critical role ensuring optimal recovery and reducing complications. With recent advances in wearable medical devices, continuous real-time data collection, analysis, and prompt clinical interventions are becoming more accessible and effective. This paper reviews the state-of-the-art technologies, design innovations, and data-driven methodologies that have revolutionized post-operative care. The study examines the integration of sensor technologies, wireless communication, and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms in monitoring vital signs and physiological parameters after surgery. Furthermore, a detailed statistical analysis of recent clinical data is presented to illustrate the impact of wearable devices on patient outcomes. Our findings indicate that these advancements not only enhance patient safety and recovery times but also reduce the overall healthcare burden. Finally, this paper discusses the challenges and potential future directions in wearable medical technology for post-surgical monitoring.
