Abstract

The rapid integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology into healthcare has significantly enhanced patient safety and improved the quality of surgical procedures. This study proposes an IoT‐based remote monitoring system for robotic surgical procedures that offers real‐time data acquisition, enhanced communication between surgical teams, and immediate anomaly detection. By connecting robotic surgery systems with IoT sensors and cloud-based analytics, the proposed system ensures continuous monitoring of critical surgical parameters and procedural integrity. A simulation research framework was developed to validate system performance, wherein a series of statistical analyses demonstrated the system’s accuracy, response time, and reliability under various simulated operational conditions. Results indicate that IoT‐integration can substantially improve the safety profile and operational efficiency of robotic surgeries, thereby reducing procedural complications and optimizing patient outcomes.
