Abstract

The integration of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) with surgical robotics has introduced a transformative approach to surgical training and simulation. This manuscript explores how AR and VR technologies are being merged with robotic surgery systems to improve surgeon training, enhance simulation realism, and ultimately elevate patient safety and outcomes. By reviewing recent literature, analyzing statistical performance data, and outlining a robust methodology, this study demonstrates that the combined use of AR and VR creates an interactive learning environment. The results suggest that trainees who use these integrated systems achieve a higher proficiency level in simulated surgical tasks compared to those using conventional training methods. These findings underscore the potential for these technologies to revolutionize surgical education and improve the effectiveness of clinical training programs.
